Auchentoshan American Oak, introduced in 2014 to replace the Classic, matures exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks from American distilleries. The whisky has a bright golden color and offers a nose of vanilla and coconut. On the palate, it’s smooth yet vibrant, with notes of vanilla cream, coconut, and white peach. The finish leaves a crisp coating of sugared grapefruit and a hint of spice. This dram is perfect on its own but also works well in splashy, tasty cocktails.
