Boulder Bourbon Bottled in Bond Whiskey

The folks at Boulder Spirits based in Boulder Colorado and headed by retired Royal Airforce veteran, Alistair Brogan, are at it again. Brogan’s passion for whiskey and attention to quality has yielded some engaging spirits. From gin to single malt and crafting incredibly unique flavours.

Boulder has been on the leading edge of the American Single Malt movement for some years now. We couldn’t be more excited to announce the very first Bottled in Bond American Single Malt from Colorado! Only the fourth release in the USA, certainly the first to arrive in South Africa, Boulder will continue to be on the top rung of the ladder as this category continues to grow.

This American Single Malt is a representation of traditional oil distillation techniques combined with the American ageing style of using freshly charred virgin oak barrels.

Milled, mashed, fermented, distilled and aged in Boulder Colorado using #3 char virgin American white oak barrels with no temperature control. A double Pot Still, American Single Malt that is proofed with Eldorado Springs water and made using 100% Malted barley grown in the UK, malted at Muntons Malt in the UK.

This single malt is soft, fruity and said to leave Scotch drinkers jumping in the pond!
