A standout in the Bunnahabhain core range, this 25-year-old has impressed whiskey connoisseurs with its relaunch. Bunnahabhain removed chill-filtration and coluoring, and increased the strength to 46.3%. The nose opens with sweet toffee and polished leather, followed by cinnamon and a hint of cardamom. A sip reveals a rich fruit compote, doused in cream and caster sugar. This develops into roasted malt, chestnuts, and stewed raisins.
