Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2018

Specifically sourced from Marlborough’s southern Wairau Valley, including the estate’s Mustang and Barracks vineyards, where the sun-bathed vines are sea-cooled by coastal breezes. Eighteen days of skin contact have been applied, allowing tannins to soak through. It was then allowed to rest in oak barrels (35% new) for 11 months to produce an elegant red. The nose is dark, with mesmerising fragrances of black cherry and bramble fruit cutting through. The palate layers in florals, gentle spice, melding with notes of boysenberry and doris plum.
