Glendalough Single Cask – Madeira Cask Finish

A single cask Irish whiskey from the Glendalough Single Cask range. It has been splendidly aged for 3 years, courtesy of maturation in both first-fill bourbon barrel and Oloroso sherry cask for an undefined period before being finished in a Canteiro-aged Madeira wine cask. The nose melds rich sultanas, exotic fruit, mango and pineapple together some orange zest and marmalade, while the palate introduces a light and lively rush of cooked fruit, raisins, dark cherry and plum.
