In a bold move, Glenmorangie has given their popular single malt Quinta Ruban 12yo a new life by maturing it for two more years, culminating in this 14-year old. Treading the same path of its predecessor, the Quinta Ruban 12 yo was first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in ruby port casks. Up front is a mixture of dark mint chocolate, tangerines and Seville oranges mingle. The mouthfeel leans into mint chocolate and walnuts that slowly reveals a new flavour layer of rose, Turkish delight and sweet Seville oranges.

Nose
Summer fruit tart with a sprinkling of icing sugar, aromatic cedar, milky coffee and almond pastries.
Taste
Chocolate mousse, Bourbon biscuits, orange oil, more almond notes (now toasted), blackcurrant and raisin.
Finish
Lasting richness of stewed berries and dark chocolate.
