Features
Reposado means ‘aged’ or ‘rested’ in Spanish. Leonista Reposado is produced by filling American oak barrels with blanco spirit and settling it for 3 to 6 months so that the spirit soaks up the colour and flavour of the wood. The oak delivers a slightly sweet beginning, with a smoky aftertaste and wooden undertones. A spirit that whiskey drinkers will enjoy as a single shot on a block of ice or a single/double shot mixed with ginger beer, slice of fresh ginger and ice.

An accessible locally-produced tequila for both people who are new on the scene and regular sippers. Was tasty neat, but just as excellent mixed. Overall, great value for the price.

Super drinkable, it doesn’t leave a burning feeling in the mouth. This is a winner for me – it’s so good that I sip it over ice.
