Features

Produced by the Limestone Branch distillery in 2011 and named after the founders Steve and Paul Beam, whose ancestral roots run deep in the Bourbon industry. Their great grandfather was Minor Case Beam, the eldest son of Joseph M. Beam in the legendary Beam lineage.

Made from a mash bill of 51% rye, 45% corn and 4% malted barley and distilled and aged at Midwest Grain Products distillery in Indiana, this 2 year old straight rye is finished for 6 months by Limestone branch in sherry casks from Meier’s Winery and bottled at 45%.

As seventh generation distillers, Steve and Paul like to reminisce. In 1871 M.C Beam began his distilling career under the supervision of his uncle Jack Beam. By 1883 he was a partner at his own operation where he bought his son, Guy (Steve and Pauls grandfather) into the business. Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey is “what might have been” in a bottle, reawakening the stills of M.C Beam that were silenced by prohibition. “I always felt it was an unfinished chapter in our book” Steve says.
